The Willow Foundation is a unique charity that organises and funds very special, moraleboosting and memorable days for seriously ill young adults aged 16-40. The Foundation provides more than 100 special days every month for individuals and their loved ones.In 2007 the charity provided more than 1,050 special days.

There is no other national UK charity that provides special day experiences for the 16-40 age group, across all life-threatening conditions. These include cancer, cystic fibrosis, motor neurone disease, muscular dystrophy and many more. All applications must meet the charity’s medical criteria and be endorsed by a medical professional involved in the individual’s care.

The Foundation strives to create a unique and unforgettable day that is tailored to the needs of every recipient. He or she chooses exactly what they would like to do on their special day and the Foundation aims to meet and, wherever possible, exceed their expectations, making the day truly special. Some of the most popular requests include:

trips to West End shows and concerts, tickets to sporting events, family breaks and weekends in the country, days at health spas with treatments, driving performance cars and trips in hot air balloons and helicopters.
