In 2008 the Lloyd's Under 30s Committee donated £3,500 to various charities - please see below for details.

 The Lord's Taverners - £1,000

Nick West (Underwriter at Chaucer Syndicate) entered, and completed, the London Marathon on Sunday 13th April 2008 on behalf of The Lord's Taverners Charity.  Nick completed the run in 4 hours 31 minutes and 59 seconds.

The Lord's Taverners were founded in 1950 and are a Charity, founded in and based upon cricket, that helps young people, particularly those with social, environmental, physical or learning disadvantages, to enjoy cricket and other sporting and leisure activities.
